GENERAL RULES

The Seventh Annual Hua Yue Cup Competition is an ONLINE competition. International contestants and those with travel restrictions may enter the competition via VIDEO SUBMISSIONS.

第七届华乐杯大赛为网络赛事。 选手以及旅行受限选手可以通过网络提交视频进行评判。

As the Contestant, you must complete all of the following steps:

  1. Read and accept all Rules, Competing Categories (See below), Terms and Conditions.
  2. Register online based on your category.
  3. Live competition location will be determined by HTTV USA (TV Station). Location TBA.
  4. For online contestants: Film your video according to official Video Guidelines. Submit your video before August 13th, 2023 (See Video Guidelines).

视频规则

VIDEO GUIDELINES

FILMING GUIDELINES

  • Videos may be filmed on any recording device, including smart phones.
  • During recording, the Contestant must be fully in view, alongside any props/instruments.
  • Contestant must clearly show their face during the performance. For acts involving multiple contestants, all persons must be in the video clearly at all times.
  • Strictly NO editing is allowed.
  • Please use a clean background free from obvious visual and noise distractions.
  • Makeup, hair, costume, etc. is highly encouraged, but not required.
  • Final video must be in full color, and at least 720 (HD) in video resolution. Videos that have quality issues may result in low scoring.

VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Contestants can upload their videos onto YouTube, Google Drive, or WeTransfer, and submit the video link on the Video Submission Page.
